About the Author

Nicole Croft, originally from Vancouver Island, BC, recently returned after over twenty years in Calgary, AB, where she owned a family childcare business for fifteen years and raised her five boys. She holds a Diploma in Early Learning and Childcare (2011) and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology (2019). Nicole is currently pursuing a Master’s in Learning and Technology at Royal Roads University. Professionally, she works for a company that creates data-driven solutions for social challenges like homelessness, addictions, and community safety.
