At Nicole and Danielle Books, stories are everywhere, in bedtime tales, scribbled sketches, and even in our backyard. Today, we want to share a little story that’s been growing quietly beside us, rooted in sunshine, rain, and laughter.

Her name is Hamburger.

No, not a dog. Not a cat. Not even a mischievous garden gnome (though we’re not ruling those out just yet). Hamburger is our peach tree, and yes, she has a name, a personality, and now… her very own poem.

We planted her last seasons, a tiny trunk with curly leaves and a whole lot of potential. Since then, she’s blossomed into more than just a fruit-bearing friend. Hamburger reminds us that the most delightful stories often come from the places we least expect.

🌸 A Peachy Little Poem for Hamburger

“Ode to Hamburger, the Peach Tree Queen”

In a patch of sun, where daisies do prance,
Lives a peach tree named Hamburger, yes, by chance.
She’s not made of buns or a sizzling grill,
But of leafy green dreams and a gardener’s will.

She hums with the bees and tickles the breeze,
Twirling her blossoms with effortless ease.
Her peaches grow rosy, round as the moon,
Whispering stories to robins in June.

We sit by her roots with notebooks and snacks,
She watches our thoughts as we scribble our tracks.
And when summer laughs in a sun-kissed swirl,
She drops a sweet peach, like a gift from a girl.

So here’s to our tree, our fruit-scented bard,
Who inspires our tales in the soft backyard.
With Hamburger near, we’ve found it to be:
Even trees can have names, and poetry. 🌳❤️

Whether it’s a peach tree or a page in a notebook, inspiration is always close by. We hope you’ll meet your own version of Hamburger today, in a garden, a child’s smile, or even in a book.

Until next time,
Nicole and Danielle
